How are strata levies calculated?

Quick answer
Each lot pays a share of the approved budget based on its unit entitlement (or lot entitlement). The levy for a lot is the budget for each fund multiplied by that lot's entitlement, divided by the total entitlements of all lots.
The full answer
For example, if the admin budget is $20,000 and your lot has 50 out of 1,000 entitlements, your share is $1,000 for the year, usually paid quarterly. Flatflo calculates levies automatically from the budget and each lot's entitlement.
